Get a front row view of the fire circle by being one of our fire safeties, and help us keep it running smoothly! Safeties will be seated inside of the circle equipped with a fire safety blanket, and remain focused on the people spinning. The mission of a fire safety is to keep an eye out for any unseen fuel transfers, the spinner’s hair, clothing, unsafe conditions, and any other situations of concern that could arise. Fire safeties will also be prepared when someone walks up to them to help them extinguish their prop. (Instruction on how to extinguish will be given, as well as during the fire safety meetings)
